Welcome to The Square Off with The Beauty Inside-Out Beautician!  The Weekly Round Up in All Things TBIOB.

Here's the categories that made the cut this week.

Overcome- Deceit
Spirit Organizing- Roads
Image-  The Ego-Image Reliance
Road2Wholeness- Silence
No Reed- InFluenza, Part 6

Overcome- Overcome the handle of deceit.  It's not a lesson in ergonomics, but a lesson in life and death.  Over the past week, I had a revealing thought.  The thought alone is not going to constitute the revelation, but eventually the coming to pass of the thought.  The unfolding; what we all live for.  And the thought was, "Deceit is a sword whose handle destroys the one who holds it."  Today, I say to you... Overcome deceit.

Spirit Organizing- We all love roads.  We love road trips.  We love road signs.  We love even the vehicles we bring onto the roads we travel.  Whether those vehicles are mental or actual vehicles.  But what about the short cut?  We all also love a good short cut; a man made path; a trail where nature whispers in our ears.  But, what's the difference between a road and a short cut?  This is the question that came to me since the last round up.  My answer was... When a road is built; someone is liable, but with a short cut..  you accept the defects, the holes, and even the short sightedness they create.

Image- The ego-image reliance.  What is it?  It doesn't take a whole day of meditation to see the correlation here.  But I had a visual thought.  Yes, a visual thought; where you not only think but see what you're thinking about.  I also had a fixed thought.  The thought was.. "Where the ego is large, your reflection has no form".  Here's the visual.  Think about water and catching your reflection in a body of water.  Now consider your reflection as your ego.  If your ego is large; you don't grasp or see the full reflection of your image because you are too small to capture its borders.  So think proportion the next time you consider the ego and its relation to your image.

Road2Wholeness Takes a Look at Silence...
There's a scripture in Proverbs that says even the silent will appear to be prudent.  I recently read this scripture, and I thought to myself.  "Silence then cannot be differentiated."  As I continued in my thinking, I also remembered the saying "Silence is Golden."  But if silence cannot be differentiated then silence is deceptive, and if silence is deceptive, then silence is in fact golden, but I'm sorry to deliver the news that "It's not Gold".  We have come to a moment in time where we must decipher between golden and gold.

No Reed- No reed; no sway; no way!  InFluenza continues on our blog this week.  Don't miss part 6 of the New Special Report.
